This change is welcomed by Mala, but not by his mother. When Shekhar escorts Mala out of town, and on reaching Kashmir, he meets up with beautiful Rajkumari (Saira Banoo), and after being stranded with her for a night during a snowstorm, he realizes what he has been missing, and becomes a care-free man in love.
She also instructs Shekhar to arrange to get married to a girl from a princely family. Things change when their mom finds out about Malas indiscretions, and she asks Shekhar to take her away from their home, to distant and scenic Kashmir, for awhile. In this household the only one who dares to laugh and enjoy life is Shekhars sister Mala (Shashikala), who also dares to love Jeevan (Anoop Kumar). He invites the best rival jewel thieves to his island estate to participate in a deadly contest. Several years down the line, they arent united but their lives are strangely interconnected. He enlists the help of his musical-theater friends to woo the lovely girl-next-door away from her music teacher. Mystery and intrigue surround this romance, as Roopa is abducted and held by criminal mastermind. However, the pair work together to solve the mystery and become romantically involved, after he introduces himself under another name.
